Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Thingerbits is on a mission to empower the next generation of creators, thinkers, and builders. We are dedicated to increasing the number of Sri Lankan students actively engaged in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship that directly benefits our nation.

Our Impact Since our inception, we have been committed to creating tangible, grassroots change. Each year, Thingerbits proudly impacts over 2,000 Sri Lankan youth and has successfully trained more than 20 college fellows to lead the charge in tech education.

1. The Thingerbits E-Commerce Store We are Sri Lanka’s go-to destination for buying and selling open-source hardware. Our clients include STEAM students, computer engineers, and hobbyists.
