The BBC micro:bit go is the quickest and easiest way for children to get going with the BBC micro:bit.
The BBC micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer that you can code, customise and control to bring your digital ideas, games and apps to life.
Measuring just 4cm by 5cm, and designed to be fun and easy to use, users can create anything from games and animations to scrolling stories at school, at home and on the go – all you need is imagination and creativity.
The BBC micro:bit is completely programmable. That means each of its LEDs can be individually programmed as can its buttons, inputs and outputs, accelerometer, magnetometer and Bluetooth
- Microprocessor: 32-bit ARM® Cortex™ M0 CPU
- A 5×5 LED matrix with 25 red LEDs to light up and can display animiated patterns, scrolling text and alphanumeric characters
- Two programmable buttons. Use them as a games controller, or control music on a smart phone
- On-board motion detector or 3-AXIS digital accelerometer that can detect movement e.g. shake, tilt or free-fall
- A built-in compass, 3D magnetometer to sense which direction you’re facing and your movement in degrees and detect the presence of certain metals and magnets
- Bluetooth® Smart Technology. Connect the micro:bit to other micro:bits, devices, phones, tablets, cameras and other everday objects
- 20 pin edge connector: This allows the micro:bit to be connected to other devices such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Galileo and Kano through a standard connector
- Micro-USB controller: This is controlled by a separate processor and presents the micro:bit to a computer as a memory stick
- Five Ring Input and Output (I/O) including power (PWR), ground (GRD) and 3 x I/O.

If you have simply changed your mind or no longer require the item(s), you must notify us within 30 days from receiving your order.
The item(s) must be in their original unused and unopened packaging and be in a resalable condition for a full refund.
You will need to pay for the cost of returning the item(s) and the item(s) remain your responsibility until we receive them.
Damaged caused during transit must be notified within two days of the delivery.
- All items sold as tested are genuinely tested before dispatch.
- Product(s) which show obvious signs of misuse, damage or weather damage will not be eligible for refund or replacement.
- All items are security marked.
- Please ensure all security markings and stickers are intact or any warranty offered will be void.
- All items are subject to satisfactory inspection of the anti-tamper warranty sticker/seal.
- Any evidence that these aforementioned stickers/seals have been removed or broken will render the item out of warranty and will not be covered under warranty rules.
- If the item becomes faulty within that period a replacement will be issued free of charge upon receipt of the faulty item, back to us, if proved to be faulty upon inspection.
- If the item is not faulty or can be repaired, not to the detriment of the item, then this shall be undertaken rather than direct replacement.
Warranty Exclusion: Please note that as batteries are "consumables" we only provide dead on arrival warranty.
The maximum capacity of all rechargeable batteries fades with time depending on application and usage patterns.
This is considered normal - therefore, a change in battery capacity is not covered under warranty.
Battery life is not warranted and will vary depending on usage.
