The UBlox Neo 6M is a 50 channel GPS receiver, supporting regional WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS SBAS correction services.

It can provide up to 2 meter accuracy, with tracking receive strengths as low as -162 dBm, and update rates as high at 5 per second (5Hz).

However, where this GPS really shines is its high altitude capability. UBlox modules interpret the COCOM limits as AND instead of OR. While traditional GPS receivers will cut out at a certain altitude OR a certain speed, UBlox Neo 6M modules require both to be true, vastly increasing its altitude capability.

This is extremely important for high altitude balloon flights (HAB).

You can utilize the UBlox Neo 6M with our HamShield to provide APRS positions of your balloon, or our new HamShield: LoRa Edition module for even longer range balloon positioning.

So how high can UBlox Neo 6M go? Up to 160,000 ft (50,000 meters), assuming you enable dynamic platform model 6, 7, or 8 on startup. See page 119 of the datasheet for details on how to configure this. We are also working on a tutorial on how to configure this within your sketch.

If you have simply changed your mind or no longer require the item(s), you must notify us within 30 days from receiving your order.

The item(s) must be in their original unused and unopened packaging and be in a resalable condition for a full refund.

You will need to pay for the cost of returning the item(s) and the item(s) remain your responsibility until we receive them.

Damaged caused during transit must be notified within two days of the delivery.

Product(s) which show obvious signs of misuse, damage or weather damage will not be eligible for refund or replacement.

Please ensure all security markings and stickers are intact or any warranty offered will be void.

Any evidence that these aforementioned stickers/seals have been removed or broken will render the item out of warranty and will not be covered under warranty rules.
If the item becomes faulty within that period a replacement will be issued free of charge upon receipt of the faulty item, back to us, if proved to be faulty upon inspection.
If the item is not faulty or can be repaired, not to the detriment of the item, then this shall be undertaken rather than direct replacement.
