Students learn how sensors let a robot 'feel' the world, then build practical projects with each one.

About this course

Covers the sensor → Arduino → actuator flow using LDR, ultrasonic, IR, temperature and sound sensors, building an automatic night lamp, a distance alarm, a smart dustbin, a temperature reader and a sound-activated light.

Lesson plan

1. LDR: Automatic Night Lamp — Sense light and switch a lamp automatically.
2. Ultrasonic Sensor: Distance Alarm — Measure distance and trigger an alarm.
3. IR Sensor: Smart Dustbin — Detect a hand to open a smart dustbin.
4. Temperature Sensor (LM35 / DHT) — Read temperature and humidity.
5. Sound Sensor: Sound-Activated Light — Clap to toggle a light.
