ThingerBits
Our History

Inspiring Sri Lanka's Next Generation of Innovators

From a maker-community vision in 2017 to a complete STEM, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence education ecosystem — this is the Thingerbits.lk journey.

Our story

Founded on a simple, ambitious vision

To make STEM education, robotics, electronics, coding and Artificial Intelligence accessible, practical and inspiring for every student in Sri Lanka.

Inspired by the global Maker Movement, Thingerbits was created to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world innovation by giving students opportunities to design, build, program and experiment.

Rather than learning only from textbooks, students learn through hands-on projects using Arduino, robotics, electronics, IoT, coding and AI.

Today, Thingerbits continues to support students, teachers, schools, universities, hobbyists and innovators by providing educational programs, robotics kits, STEM laboratories, AI learning resources and technical support.

Our Mission

To inspire every student to become a creator rather than simply a technology user by providing accessible, hands-on STEM education that develops creativity, critical thinking, engineering skills and innovation.

Our Vision

To become Sri Lanka's leading STEM, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence education platform — empowering future engineers, scientists, innovators and technology leaders.
