Understanding Sensors: A Maker's Guide

Sensors turn the physical world into signals your board can read. The most common types you will meet:
- HC-SR04 ultrasonic — distance
- DHT11 — temperature and humidity
- PIR — motion
- MPU6050 — orientation and acceleration
Most connect with just a few wires and a library. Start simple, print the readings to the serial monitor, then build from there.
